FSI Centrifuge
To separate the drilling fluid in two phases of different weights, decanting centrifuge will do the job. The separation is conducted through an accelerated settling rate. Its separation is based upon the Stoke’s Law.
FSI Centrifuge Decanter is made of a solid big bowl completely in stainless steel.
Description of the FSI Decanter Centrifuge:
Big Bowl. The bowl of the decanter is made of stainless steel. The dewatering volume in the bowl can be easily be altered by exchanging the weir disc.
Screw. The centrifuge screw is made of AISI 304 and is coated from both sides with tungsten carbide against erosion. The mud feed point is with ceramic protection.
Sludge Scraper. In the solids discharge chamber the FSI decanter has a sludge scraper mechanism which continuously removes sludge from the wall of the solid discharge.
Back-Drive. The back-drive of the centrifuge decanter is a grease lubricated Cyclo gearbox. The gearbox is protected against overloading with an electronic detection system.
Our centrifuge is horizontal scroll type unit and is designed to handle specified mud.
The decanter is capable of continuous operation with a minimum maintenance.
