This is a unique application of hydrocyclone technology to remove sand from liquid waste on dairy farm.  It is sold separately to extend equipment life on dairies with sand .Hydrocyclones have no moving parts or screens, require little maintenance and capture coarse and fine sand.

The Sand Eliminator and the SRU work together to reduce lagoon  maintenance and extend equipment. Hydrocyclones have no moving   parts, require little maintenance, and capture fine sand and 50% - 70%     of suspended manure solids.


 


 

 

 

     Technical Features:

FSI chopper pumps have been particularly designed to lift liquid manure from wet pits. These pumps are also available for difficult applications such as paper works, oil mills, tanneries, food waste, etc. This pump is supplied with a deckplate to mount the pump, and a discharge flange above the deckplate with a pressure gauge tap. Foreign material (plastics tags, rags, pieces of woods, or cloth) is chopped up by the pump so that particle size is reduced and downstream plugging problems are in most cases eliminated. .

Designed for dairy manure solid/liquid separation, the basic separation principle employed in hydrocyclones is centrifugal sedimentation, i.e. the suspended particles are subjected to centrifugal acceleration, which makes them separate from the fluid.. .

FSI screw press provides a highly efficient and reliable system for the separation of solids from liquids. It can be employed in many different fields, such as: agriculture, paper processing, food industry as well as recycling industry. The screw press separator is able to treat a product quantity from 10 to 65 cubic meters per hour (depending on the thickness of product treated and on screen size). .
